What is the NDIS?
The National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS) is Australia’s way of providing support for people with a permanent and significant disability. It is designed to give you more choice and control over how, when, and where your supports are provided.
At Amina Support Care, we help you make the most of your funding by connecting you with services that truly align with your personal goals.

How to manage NDIS Plan
Once your NDIS plan is approved, you have the power to choose how your funds are managed. There are three main options, and you can even choose a combination of them for different parts of your budget:
Self-Managed: You (or your nominee) manage the funding yourself. This gives you the most flexibility to choose any provider, but you are responsible for keeping records and paying invoices directly.
Plan-Managed: A dedicated Plan Manager (like an accountant for your NDIS funds) pays your providers for you. You can choose both registered and non-registered providers while the Plan Manager handles the paperwork.
NDIA-Managed: The National Disability Insurance Agency (NDIA) pays your providers directly. In this case, you can only use NDIS Registered Providers (like Amina Support Care).
